| Who is ArabesQ ?
We are a group of home schooling families, that realized that there was a need in the home schooling movement for a more diverse voice. When searching the net you might think that "Home Educators" are only Fundamentalist Christians or People who want an alternative type life style "Modern Day Hippies." This is not true. Today more and more people from around the world are choosing to stay home, come back home, or return home. We decided that our site would be just that kind of place. A place where families who did not ordinarily have a voice in the Home education sector could have a spot light. It was our desire to become a resource for families from around the world. Here they could get advice, discuss, choose to buy resources that otherwise have just been barely accessible to through "traditional" catalogs. We wanted people to be able find a forum for discussion and understanding of the world around them. We carry products on Islam, Muslims, Africans, Arabs, Blacks Americans, etc. If we don't have it it is because you haven't asked us! In our own home schooling struggles we realized that all of us had one common goal and that was to educate our children. To help them become human beings that others could love, as well as ourselves. With this in mind we began sharing our unique experiences in home schooling with people from, all walks of life who maybe feel reluctant and unsure as to whether or not they could educate their own children at home, or people who have experience and want to expand and explore areas they have only touched upon before. Here we honor the fact that we might have different ways to achieve the same goal. So, we offer curricula, tailor made to suit your style. If you like a very structured style of day with workbooks for every course we can work with you to do that. We have a wide variety of new and used text to fit any budget. Coming soon is a unit study handbook to give you ideas on how to structure your day. If you are a Charlotte Mason fan and like the structure/unschooling with a heavy foreign language flair, we have online advisors that can help you tailor make a home schooling plan fit just for you. If you are a Muslim who believes that Islam is not a separate course you teach your children but a way of life which is in every lesson you teach we have a specialist who has been home educating her children for the last 9 years. If you are an African or Arab American who wants to have your child's education reflect a certain amount of pride missing in today's public schools you have come to the right place. If you do not speak english well and find yourself teaching your children at home do not worry our staff can help you 24 hours a day, all you must do is ask.
