Science and Islam Any objective observer will notice that science stagnated under Christianity in Europe because man had tampered with the original revelation, hence it became impossible to reconcile Christianity with reality. However, science bloomed under Islam, and the Muslim world enjoyed its golden period when Europe was in the Dark Ages. This was due to the fact that Islam was kept in its original form and it therefore continued to be applicable for every time and place.

Science Club  Masha Allah!  What a nice site.  You can visit a science fair, ask scientific questions, view other people's science projects and more!Has projects to choose from and K-6th grade activities.  Your child could join the club and also choose great reading from this site. 

PBS Online Science  Has a host of Science themes to choose from and actually is one of my favorite sites to visit.  It even has a teacher's resource area.  Mashallah !!

Virtual Autopsy
Five centuries ago, a teenaged girl was sacrificed to the Inca gods on a mountaintop in Peru. Anthropologist Johan Reinhard discovered her preserved body in 1995. Using computed tomography (CT) scans and studying tissue samples, scientists have gleaned information about her DNA and possible links to living relatives as well as details of her death that provide new insights into Inca ritual and religion. This stunning National Geographic site offers a "virtual autopsy" (annotated images of the CT scans) and a "virtual climb" with Reinhard on a new Andes expedition. The site also links to Ice Treasures of the Inca, a chronicle of the mummy's discovery.

Virtual Frog Dissections Kit  Craziest thing I have ever seen !!  Disect a frog via computer...the halal way...it's a cartoon!  Gross but neat!
